Beware the Beetle

June 26th, 2007

Four summers ago in southeastern Michigan, a non-native Asian beetle was found feeding on ash (Fraxinus) trees. It was identified as the wood-boring emerald ash borer (Agrilus planipennis Fairmaire). Invitation to an upcoming photo exhibit

June 26th, 2007

Hello Windom friends,

Attached is an invitation to photo exhibit “Footsteps Around the World” which will display photographs from some of my travels to Cameroon, Hong Kong, Mexico and France. There will also be light samplings of food from around the world, and music. “One Wish – for the world” is a debut of an opportunity for children to create and exhibit art about their wish for the world. Would LOVE to have you stop by and enjoy! Details are on the attachment. In short the date of the opening reception is July 12 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Family Village in New Hope. Do let me know if you know that you will be able to make it. In the meantime, sending you the BEST for “good living” until I see you next.

You may also receive a postcard invite in the mail!

Blessings,
Dawn Vogel

RT Rybak and Scott Benson were there as well. RT was there to speak for the good character of Plymouth. I’m sure this was their attempt to rubber-stamp the approval of the Board.
