BENEFIT FOR BETSY’S BACK PORCH COFFEE

LIVE MUSIC

SATURDAY September 29th 11am – 11pm

In addition to providing a wide selection of coffee, tea, beer, wine and food, Betsy’s Back Porch offers a wide variety of music.

2007 Windom Fall Festival – September 21st 5:00-8:30pm

September 5th, 2007

If you are looking to participate, or wish to volunteer contact Jessica at 612-821-9109 or FallFestival@windomcommunity.org

Draft Poster

Hi Everyone!

The Fall Festival is coming together very nicely.

We’ve been able to save significant money this year due to donations of the posters (Karen Bencke), 2 inflatable jumping things (Paul’s rental and the Park Board), the cotton candy machine (Paul’s Rental) and yard signs (we’ll use the same from last year and just change the date).

We are still finalizing the petting zoo or pony rides, the menu and prices. We have a meeting tonight at 6:30 at Windom to finalize these details. Feel free to join us if you like, otherwise I will attend the board meeting next Thursday for final updates.

A few items of business:

1. Please review the poster (11×17) for businesses by tomorrow at noon. Here is the link: http://dev.cla.umn.edu/webteam/karen/WindomFlyer.pdf.

It’s a draft, so the contact information and name will be changed on the final. The final will be printed and ready for pick-up on Friday.

NEED: A volunteer to go around the neighborhood to put up posters. Please email me to coordinate pick-up.

2. Organize all your yard signs from last year and be prepared to receive stickers at next week’s meeting to put over the date from last year. Then, please place them strategically throughout the neighborhood. I have about 25 from last year and will get those out this weekend.

3. Raffle tickets will be ready in the next week and we’ll figure out distribution at tonight’s meeting.

All other updates and needs I’ll share at the meeting next week. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.

I’m looking forward to the event and rockin’ out to Dave Evans’s band, the Positronic Croutons again! Yippee!

Jessica
