New Crime Prevention Specialist

June 30th, 2008

Hi! My name is Amy Lavender and I am the new Crime Prevention Specialist for the 5th Precinct-Sector 3 which includes the neighborhoods of Fulton, Lynnhurst, Tangletown, Kenny, Windom and Armatage. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and worked for Minneapolis Emergency Communications/911 for the past twelve years as a 911 Operator, Police/Fire Dispatcher, and Shift Supervisor.

I am very excited to begin my new career. I look forward to working with residents and business owners to alleviate, resolve, or prevent crime-related issues. Please contact me with any concerns, problems that you have, or just to introduce yourself. Thank you.
