Attendees: Breanne Rothstein – President, Pat Soulak – Vice President, Katie Louis – Treasurer, Doug Sweet – Council Member, Amanda Vallone Neighborhood Coordinator, David Evans – Council Member and Heather Day – Secretary

Special Guests: Amy Lavender – Mpls Police Crime Prevention Specialist, John – Windom resident and owner of Café Cuba, and Lindsay – Windom resident. Tony Pavelko from Food for Thought (CSA) was not able to attend.

Block Leader Training and Networking

April 9th, 2009

 Are you interested in becoming a block leader?
 Are you a new block leader who hasn’t been trained?
 Are you an established block leader who wants to refresh your training or share your stories?
 Would you like to network with other block leaders in the 5th Precinct?
 Would you like the new Crime Prevention Resource Manual?

for Block Leader Training.

Where: 5th Precinct Community Room

(Visitor parking lot off 1st Av S just south of 31st St W)

*The purpose of the first portion is to conduct block leader training for new leaders. The second portion will be dedicated to sharing stories and ideas among current and new block leaders. This meeting is informal and more than one representative per block is encouraged to attend.
