Introducing our Community Liason to the City’s Attorney Office

July 15th, 2009

Dear Windom Community members:

As of June 1st, I am the new community attorney in the 5th precinct and
your liaison to the City Attorney’s Office. I have been a prosecutor
for 14 years, first as a District Attorney in Georgia and the last 9
years for the City of Minneapolis. I’ve taken the past month to
familiarize myself with this position and the people of the precinct,
and I’m very excited to be working with everyone. I want to take this
time to let you know that I’m available to assist you in any manner I’m
able. I note from meeting agenda on June 11th that you have created a
Crime and Safety Committee. I have participated in other neighborhood
organizations through these types of committees. Please do not hesitate
to call, and I look forward to working with your organization.
